This fall, the “toasted” beauty trend, featuring bronzy and brown tones for a warm glow, is making waves in both makeup and hair. Similar to 2023’s latte makeup, this look was recently sported by Amal Clooney at The Albies, the Clooney Foundation for Justice’s awards program. Her trusted glam artist, Dimitris Giannetos, created the look.

For the evening, Clooney styled her own hair and dress, opting for a toasted beauty look to complement her advocacy for social justice. Giannetos, her hairstylist, enhanced her famously luscious hair by going “a bit darker for fall” and adding “Scandinavian-style face-framing pieces” to soften her features. He prepared her hair with L’Oréal Paris Elvive Glycolic Serum before styling and used “a lot of Elnett hairspray” for her signature shine and hold. Clooney completed her look with a chocolate brown off-the-shoulder gown by Versace Atelier by Dario Vitale.
